Courses & enrollment
How are Enova Academy courses different from video-playlist courses?
Every course is authored as a structured syllabus with ordered sections — readings, videos, quizzes, and (depending on the course) interactive workbooks, branching scenarios, live code sandboxes, or peer review assignments — rather than a flat list of videos. Quizzes are gated so you complete each section before unlocking the next, and most courses end with a graded assessment.
Do I need an account to browse the catalog?
No. Anyone can browse the course catalog, read a course's description and outcomes, and search by category, level, or keyword without signing in. Creating a free account is required to see the full section-by-section curriculum, enroll, track progress, and post in discussions.
What levels and lengths are available?
Courses are labeled Beginner, Intermediate, or Advanced, and typically run from about 45 minutes to 2 hours of structured content. You can filter the catalog by level and by maximum length.
Do I get a certificate when I finish a course?
Yes. Completing a course's sections and passing its final assessment issues a certificate, viewable from your learner dashboard.
Pricing & payment
Are all courses free?
No — some courses are free and some are paid. Each course's price is shown on its own course page before you enroll. There's no subscription; a paid course is a one-time purchase that unlocks that course's full content.
What payment methods are accepted?
Live payment processing isn't enabled on this deployment yet — the checkout flow currently runs against a mocked payment processor while that integration is finalized. Once it's live, this answer will list the accepted payment methods.
What's your refund policy?
See the Payments & Refunds section of our Terms of Service for the current policy, which will be finalized alongside live payment processing.
Becoming an instructor
How do I publish a course as an instructor?
Sign up for (or switch to) an instructor account, then build your course in the Instructor Studio — sections, resources, and quizzes — and submit it for review. An admin reviews submissions in the Course Review queue before a course goes live in the public catalog.
Do I keep ownership of my course content?
Yes. Instructors retain ownership of everything they submit. Publishing on Enova Academy grants the platform a license to host and display your course to enrolled and previewing learners — see Terms of Service for the full terms.
Can I see how my course is performing?
Yes, per-course analytics are available to instructors in the Instructor Studio for courses you own.
Discussions & getting help
Can I ask questions about a specific course?
Yes, two ways. Each course page has an "Ask about this course" Q&A widget that answers directly from that course's own material (it won't guess or make things up beyond the course content). You can also post in that course's discussion thread, where instructors and other learners — including instructor-verified answers — can respond.
Who can post in discussions?
Anyone can post, including guests using a display name, though signed-in learners and instructors post under their real session identity, and instructor replies are flagged as such.
Accounts & access
What roles exist on Enova Academy?
Learner and Instructor accounts are self-selected at signup. Admin accounts manage course approvals, user accounts, and platform-wide settings and aren't self-service.
I forgot my password — what do I do?
